Lucinda's portrait was undertaken as a private commission and involved 3, 2 hour sessions of sketching and painting from life. For this portrait I also took photographs to be used as reference so I could paint in the studio without the model being present. This is also the first painting I have ever done of a cat!! (bottom r/h corner!). |
