Over 350 artists challenged the stereotypes attributed to homelessness by creating more than 400 portraits representing some of the 534 people Worthing Churches Homeless Projects work with in a twelve month period. They created these images from a brief, anonymous profile of a client drawing from details such as their hobbies and jobs.

( Neil (above) was painted from life as he was kind enough to come and sit for me for several sessions and was a GREAT model)

The exhibition will take place at:

Offington Park Methodist Church, South Farm Road, Worthing, BN14 7TN

22nd & 23rd June

29th & 30th June

6th & 7th July

The exhibition is open from 10.30am – 5.30pm on Saturdays and 12.30pm – 4.00pm on Sundays. Refreshments will be available.

The wonderful Proto Restaurant group are supporting our opening day on Saturday 22nd June by providing paella for the first 150 visitors.

There will also be banners displaying photographs of the artwork around Worthing Pier from the 22nd June for the duration of the three weeks of the Worthing Arts Trail.

The artworks will be auctioned off in their original form at the exhibition at Offington Park Methodist Church. We will be accepting bids from the 22nd June.
